Cupra Marittima

Cupra Marittima is a small seaside resort located in Marche. Along with Grottammare and San Benedetto del Tronto (connected by a very pleasant bike path) it completes the Riviera delle Palme, European Blue Flag since 1997. The area takes its name from the many palm trees, oleanders, pine trees and bougainvillea following one another along the beaches of soft sand.

This pleasant resort is like a family corner, perfect for a relaxing holiday. Thanks to its well-equipped beach and the shallow water, it has become one of the best destinations for families with children and seniors looking for a quiet and relaxing stay.

Today Cupra Marittima is famous for the ruins of the castle of St. Andrea (XIII century), the collegiate and the Archeological Museum, the Archaeological Park, the ancient town of Marano, and a permanent exhibition of malacology.
