The territory
Due to its natural beauty and great cycling tradition, our territory frequently hosts major stage races (the race “Tirreno-Adriatica”, the Junior Cycling World Championship etc. ) for professionals and amateurs, who represented a powerful attraction for road cyclists. There are many paths along the Adriatic coast, from here to the local valleys or hills.
In Cupra Marittima and surroundings, there are also hiking trails and circuits of varying difficulty, for cycling tourism, mountain biking, with many amateur races.
For those who prefer mountain biking, several trails are available near Cupra Marittima, in the surrounding hills and the nearby mountains.
Finally, there is a beautiful bike path extended 14 Km, completely overlooking the sea, which connects Cupra Marittima to Grotttammare and San Benedetto del Tronto, also suitable for those who want a quiet bike ride, also with kids without getting tired too.

Routes and tour
Road bike:
For road bikes and mountain bikes outing, we can arrange maps on routes near Cupra Marittima.
For group outings along the coast, visit Calesi site where are indicated departure time and route.
To know road cycling events in the Marche you can visit UISP Italian Union of Sport for all.
On the website Pedale Fermano, you can find updated competitions, taking place in the areas of Fermo and the neighborhood (just north of Cupra Marittima), with particular regard to the Cup Fermo.
Mountainbike:
Tto experience some itineraries of the Piceno area and the coast, divided by race bike and mountain bike, you can visit the website Piceno Bike or you can alternatively download the guide.
Some races and events are on Sentieri Piceni.
Excellent marked trails and hiking in the mountains near Ascoli Piceno (35 km from Cupra Marittima) are on Ascoli Bike Team and Ascoli Bike Park.
